A really sweet vintage Trevor 'Squirrelman' Hutchinson squirrel paperweight, all hand carved from one piece of seasoned English oak. The squirrel has been depicted eating a little nut, the same squirrel Trevor uses to sign his pieces. He has signed the piece on the base with his initials 'TH'.

The condition is very good with no damage. It measures 9cm high. The base measures 5.4cm x 4.9cm.

Trevor Hutchinson is the son of Wilf Hutchinson, one of Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson's craftsmen. Wilf left Mouseman and set up his own workshop in 1957, adopting the seated squirrel eating a nut as his signature.
