An excellent example of a Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson bread board. It has been so well made with a perfectly carved signature mouse on one edge. The mouse is very detailed and has been carved in high relief, so nice to see such a well carved mouse.

The top surface of the board has been lightly adzed, which reflects the light beautifully and gives the board that lovely rippling effect.

The condition is excellent with no damage, no knife marks, no nicks or cracks. To be really picky, on the back of the board there is one small patch of oak that is slightly lighter than the rest. Not really noticeable and hardly worth pointing out as it will likely fade as the board ages. It is quite a perfect piece which displays really well.

It measures 30.5 cm x 24.7 cm.
