A really well carved Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson pin tray / dish with the signature mouse to the top. It is a lovely golden honey colour with a particularly well executed signature mouse. It is in very good condition with just one small nibble on the front edge, other than that just light wear seen on close inspection, all in line with age and use. A nice piece. 
 
These little pin dishes are the same size as the Mouseman ashtrays, but not as many of them were made in comparison to the ashtrays, so they are rarer and more sought after. They are all hand carved, so are quite different.
