A lovely example of a 1980s Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson book trough, made from a piece of oak which has some nice natural knots in the grain. It is a really good dark gingerbread colour with a well carved signature mouse to the front right-hand side. Each end has been beautifully adzed.
Regarding condition, there are a few faint stains that would polish out, and slight wear seen on close inspection, other than that, it is very good with no damage. The signature mouse is perfect with no chips to the ears or losses to the tail.
