A great example of a vintage Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson ashtray with the signature mouse carved to the top.

The mouse has been carved with a high back end, prominent ears, and a thin neck, very reminiscent of the early Mouseman mice. The mouse has also been carved on the right-hand side of the ashtray (with its head facing forward), which makes it a bit more unusual, as most are carved on the left.

The condition is very good. There are a few tiny dark spots in the well and the bottom of the ashtray shows a bit of wear - faint scratches and indentations, all in line with age and use.

Overall, it's a lovely, vintage piece with a particularly charming old mouse.
