A vintage Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson 1970s fruit bowl. It has been beautifully made and expertly tooled. The colour is also wonderful and the signature mouse to the centre has been superbly carved. The oak has some natural small knots running throughout which really gives the bowl more character. The diameter measures 11" / 28 cm, so it's a bit smaller than the later bowls which measure 30.5 cm. The condition is excellent with no damage to the bowl or the mouse. A really good example of a highly sought after 1970s Mouseman bowl.
