A vintage Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson pin tray / trinket dish carved in the form of a lucky horseshoe. It has the signature mouse on top. It is a wonderful dark oak colour, and it has great patina.
 
Regarding condition, on close inspection, it has some tiny 'nibbles' to the ears which you can't really see, but you can feel them when you run your fingers over them. A tiny nibble also to the body. There are three very faint scorch marks in the bowl, again, they're not really noticeable until you look closely. There has been a bit of restoration to the mouse, again, you would never know.
 
The base has three small chips that have been filled with wax, these can be seen in the pictures. Also, when you run your finger round the rim of the base you can feel that at one point it feels a bit uneven. It could have been carved this way, or a tiny chip could have been polished out - priced accordingly. Other than that, no issues.
