A superb Colin 'Beaverman' Almack writing bureau with two signature beavers. It has two drawers, and a double cupboard beneath with two internal shelves and panelled doors. The signature beavers are carved on the lopers, which pull out to support the fall front. It is a gorgeous golden honey colour, and it has been beautifully carved with panelled sides and back; an incredible amount of work has gone into this piece. The drawer and cupboard handles have even been carved into little Yorkshire roses, which really adds charm to the piece.
 
The stationery compartments inside the bureau are exceptionally clean with no staining. The fall front is also in excellent condition with no damage. It has a lock and two keys. The lock works perfectly. The lopers, which pull out to support the fall front, are also excellent with no damage and the beavers carved on the lopers are also in fine condition. The interiors of the drawers and cupboards are also very clean. Overall, the condition is excellent with no damage, just ever so slight wear seen on close inspection.
 
The height of the bureau measures 99.5 cm. The width 89 cm. The depth with the fall front lid open is 68 cm. With the fall front closed, it is 40 cm, including the beaver signatures.
 
 A really stunning Beaverman piece that is not only very functional, but it displays really well too.
