A superb example of a vintage Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson table / desk lamp. It has been so well carved with the signature mouse scurrying up the base, which has been excellently executed. It is a beautiful dark oak colour, and being vintage, it has a slightly smaller base than the later examples.
 
It is in excellent condition with no damage. It has been polished, waxed, fully rewired, and has a new brass bulb holder, so it is in full working order and looks fabulous. It comes with the amber glass candle bulb seen in the pictures. It also has a removable brass lampshade holder to hold a lampshade in place. 
 
These vintage Mouseman lamps are becoming more sought after as the 1950s examples are now almost impossible to get hold of, and when they do come to the market, they command huge prices.
