A superb example of a Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson oval shaped cheese board, all hand carved from oak with the signature mouse on the handle. 
 
It has been made from a gorgeous piece of oak that has lots of medullary rays running through the grain that shimmer when they catch the light, which really adds charm to the piece. It has been beautifully adzed to the top surface of the board as well, giving it that rippling effect. The mouse has also been perfectly carved. A wonderful piece.
 
 It is in perfect condition with no damage and no knife marks to the board.
