An excellent example of a Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson oval shaped cheese board, all hand carved from oak with the signature mouse on the handle.
It is in perfect condition with no damage and no knife marks to the board. It is a wonderful colour with a well carved signature mouse.
It has been made from a lovely piece of character oak with some natural knots that make it a little bit different and add charm. It has also been beautifully adzed to the top surface of the board, giving it that beautiful rippling effect.
Not an old piece, but a really nice example.
