A lovely example of a Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson oval shaped cheese board, all hand carved from oak with the signature mouse on the handle. It has been very subtly adzed to the top surface of the board, giving it a gentle rippling effect. 
 
The colour of the oak is gorgeous with lighter golden stripes running down the centre of the board, which are filled with natural golden medullary rays that really glisten when they catch the light, which really adds character to the piece.
 
It is in excellent condition with no damage.
