A good example of a Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson oval shaped cheese board, hand carved from oak with the signature mouse on the handle. It is in excellent condition with no damage. It has no knife marks or evidence that it has been used, it looks to have just been a display piece. The signature mouse has been carved in high relief to the handle. It is really lovely colour and it has been beautifully adzed to the top of the board. A nice piece, perfect for serving your after dinner cheeses.
