A nice example of a Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson light oak nut bowl. It has been carved from a piece of oak commonly referred to as 'character' oak, which has a natural inconsistent pattern in the grain - unusual to see in the Mouseman bowls and adds a bit of character to the piece. The exterior of the bowl has been beautifully adzed and has the carved signature mouse running along the edge.
It is in excellent condition with no damage, no staining, chips, or cracks. The diameter measures 16 cm.
Not an old piece, but a bit different to the other Mouseman nut bowls that normally come to the market.
