An unusual vintage bespoke Colin 'Beaverman' Almack small lamp with the signature beaver to the base. It isn't the usual Beaverman lamp design, almost certainly a commissioned or a one-off piece with a lacquered finish. It's a really charming, sweet little lamp that is so small it would fit just about anywhere!
Regarding the condition, it is very good with no damage. The lamp is in full working order with a new brass bulb holder fitted that has an on/off switch. The electric wire isn't very long, but an extension lead could be used if needed.
The height of the lamp not including the bulb holder is just 17.5 cm.
Lampshade not included.
Colin 'Beaverman' Almack was one of Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson's craftsmen. He worked for Thompson during the 1940s and 1950s. He set up his own workshop in 1960 and adopted the beaver as his signature.
