A rare, vintage Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson pipe bowl, hand carved from oak with the signature mouse on the edge. It has been hand adzed to the outside, and is a really lovely rich honey oak colour. 
 
Regarding condition, it has a sheen, likely Osmo (stain protector). There are some stains to the inside of the bowl and a stain to the outside (see pictures). It also has a tiny nick to the rim. Otherwise, the condition is very good, and the signature mouse is perfect with no chips or damage. The diameter measures 15cms, so quite a small bowl and still very useable as a nut bowl or as a display piece.
