A really rare pair of Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson dark oak wall lights - circa 1930. Each has carved scrolls and particularly well carved signature mice with the high back ends, thinner necks, and prominent ears, very typical of the 1930s. They are a wonderful dark colour with excellent patination, and in original condition, still with the old wiring. They could be rewired at a small cost. The back plates measure approximately 26 cm x 9 cm. They are almost 100 years old but are in good condition with just wear commensurate with age and use. They are very rare to the market, possibly bespoke.
