A really rare bespoke Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson boardroom chair. It was designed to look like a 1930s Mouseman chair with two mouse tails / scrolls on the back panel of the chair. But it was actually made in the late 1950s / 1960s. It is quite substantial, heavy, solid chair. The back panel and the panel seat are fully adzed, which is quite striking as the rippled oak really reflects the light beautifully.
Regarding condition, it is excellent with no damage. It has been professionally polished and waxed, so looks fantastic and displays really well. The colour of the oak is absolutely gorgeous with medullary rays glistening here and there like ribbons of gold.
The full height of the chair measures 103 cm. The seat height measures 45.5 cm. The width of the seat is 47 cm. The depth of the chair is 41 cm.
There are more of these chairs in stock. Please contact info@yorkshiremouse.co.uk if you are interested in purchasing more than one. There are also two boardroom armchairs for sale, one of which is available to purchase in the online shop.
