An early Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson dark oak napkin ring - circa 1940s / 50s. It measures just 4.2 cm, so a fair bit smaller than the vintage Mouseman napkin rings that usually come to the market. It has been beautifully carved and is a wonderful colour.
 
The condition is very good with no damage. Just slight surface wear commensurate with age.
 
These smaller, early napkin rings are quite rare to the market, so are always more sought after by collectors. An affordable early piece.
