A pair of hand carved Derek 'Lizardman' Slater napkin rings with a signature lizard to each one. They are a lovely colour and are in perfect condition with no damage.
Derek Slater of Woodcarvers of Crayke served his apprenticeship with Acorn Industries of Brandsby. His signature was originally a low relief fish, which changed to a high relief fish, before changing again to a lizard. His work is highly regarded; he was even commissioned to make pieces for St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle.
