A lovely example of a Peter 'Rabbitman' Heap dinner wagon / drinks trolley. It has been beautifully made with the signature rabbit sitting on the top. It has 2 open shelves joined by square legs on castors. Perfect for transporting food, dishes, plates, etc to the dining table. It also makes a great drinks trolley! It is in very good condition with no damage, just one faint stain to the lower shelf (priced accordingly), other than that, no issues. It is a wonderful dark honey colour and measures 60 cm x 38.5 cm x 69.5 cm (height). A sturdy piece that is still very useable today.
Peter Heap was one of Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson's craftsmen. He set up his own workshop in 1970 and adopted the rabbit as his signature. His pieces have become highly collectable since his death in 2022.
