A superb vintage Colin 'Beaverman' Almack burr oak lamp with the signature beaver to the base. Hand carved from a beautiful piece of dark oak; the colour is absolutely gorgeous. The whole piece has been so well made, one of the nicest Beaverman lamps to come to the market.
Regarding the condition, it is perfect with no damage. The lamp is in full working order with a new brass bulb holder fitted that has an on/off switch. It also has an on/off switch on the cable.
The height of the lamp not including the bulb holder is 37 cm, so a fair bit bigger than the Mouseman table lamps.

Colin 'Beaverman' Almack was one of Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson's craftsmen. He worked for Thompson during the 1940s and 1950s. He set up his own workshop in 1960 and adopted the beaver as his signature.
