An early Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson dark oak napkin ring - circa 1930s / 40s. It measures just 3.8 cm, so quite a bit smaller than the vintage Mouseman napkin rings that usually come to the market which measure 5 cm. It has been beautifully carved and is a wonderful dark colour. The condition is very good with no damage. Just slight surface wear commensurate with age.
These smaller, early napkin rings are quite rare to the market, so are always more sought after by collectors. An affordable early piece.
