A nice example of an early Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson oak napkin ring with the signature mouse to the top. Circa 1940s / 50s. It is a good colour and really well carved.
 
It is in very good condition with no damage, just a bit of wear commensurate with age and use. It measures just 4cm high. Quite a bit smaller in size and a lot rarer than the later napkin rings, which come to the market more often and measure 5cm.
