A wonderful example of a vintage Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson Table / Desk Lamp - circa 1960. It has been really well made with an expertly carved petite signature mouse climbing up the base. It is a gorgeous colour with great patination. A fabulous piece in full working order.
 
Being an earlier made lamp, it is a bit smaller than the later examples, standing 25.5 cm high, the later lamps measure 26.5 cm. 
 
It is in very good condition with no damage, just very light wear seen on close inspection, all in line with approximately 60 years of use.  
 
These vintage 1960s Mouseman lamps are becoming more sought after as the 1950s examples are now almost impossible to get hold of, and when they do come to the market, they command huge prices.
